Radio X und das Jugendkulturfestival sind seit Gründungszeiten eng miteinander verbunden. Radio X sendet auch in der Ausgabe 2021 live vom Festival: Wir übertragen Konzerte, Talks, Interviews, Slams und Lesungen von den Standorten Sommercasino und Klybeck live zu dir ins Wohnzimmer. Und an unserem "Bad-Taste-Henna"-Stand verunstalten JKF Artists deine Haut mit Motiven, die das "Wheel of Destiny" für dich bestimmt hat.
Wir senden an beiden Festivaltagen zwischen 17h und 01h live von den Standorten "Sommercasino" und "Padelhalle Klybeck".

Wir wollen euch am JKF alle etwas aufhübschen! Deswegen gibt es an unserem Sendebus vor dem Sommercasino eine Henna-Tattoo-Session der etwas anderen Art. Kulturschaffende, die am JKF auftreten, sind die Tattoo-Artists, du ihre Leinwand. Schöne Schnörkel und Mandalas werden wohl eher Seltenheitswert haben, denn unsere Artists sind mehrheitlich Masters of Trash - dafür vollgas! Und auch bei der Wahl des Motivs hast du nicht viel mitzureden, denn die liegt ganz beim "Wheel of Destiny". Die Wahl des Orts, an dem du dein Henna-Tattoo willst, die überlassen wir dir aber natürlich noch, schliesslich gehört dein Körper dir und nur dir allein - vergiss das nicht! Vor zwei Jahren gab es einen regelrechten Ansturm und es entstand ein Sammelsurium an grandiosen Trash-Kuriositäten. According to the rapper and comedian Ali Gul Pir, Karachi is the most misunderstood place in the world. For TIMEZONES, he produced an episode that will give you a «real» feel of what it’s like to be an artist in this city of a million plus dreams, hopes, and problems.
A world leading magazine called Pakistan «the most dangerous place in the world» but take it from Ali Gul Pir, who has lived most of his life there: «It’s an amazing place. Karachi has given me my identity, my voice, and space to express.» In this podcast episode, he meets artists that he’s friends with, to talk about how they use collaborations and work to express themselves, and he also discovers the hurdles of a Pakistani female guitarist.
