Aktionswoche gegen Rassismus 2024
Dank der finanziellen Unterstützung der kantonalen Fachstelle Integration und Antirassismus und der eidgenössischen Fachstelle für Rassismusbekämpfung organisiert Radio X im Rahmen der Aktionswoche gegen Rassismus vom 18. bis 24. März 2024 die Auftaktveranstaltung zum Thema Alltagsrassismus sowie ein vielseitiges Radioprogramm.
Podiumsdiskussion über Alltagsrassismus am Montag, 18. März ab 18h im kHaus
mit einer Begrüssung von Jenny Pieth (Co-Leiterin der Fachstelle Integration und Antirassismus), Inputreferat Danielle Isler (Sozialwissenschaftlerin Universität Bayreuth), Podiumsdiskussion mit Stéphane Laederich (Rroma Foundation), Guilherme Bezerra (brasilianischer Medienschaffender) und Danielle Isler. Moderiert von Elisa da Costa (Gründerin Blackfluencers und Afrokaana). Anschliessend Fragen aus dem Publikum plus Apéro.
Darüber hinaus bietet Radio X in der Aktionswoche ein randvolles Radioprogramm mit antirassistischen Beiträgen:

ABGESAGT: Session mit La Nefera am Mittwochabend
Die Radio X Session La Nefera musste aus gesundheitlichen Gründen heute kurzfristig abgesagt werden. Konzertathmosphäre gibt es bei uns trotzdem: Ihr hört heute Abend ab 21 Uhr die Wiederholung der live Session mit der zauberhaften Band Ellas (AG). Das Konzert fand live vor einem Monat in der Radio-Lounge statt.

LA NEFERA derives from "Nefertiti", the great Egyptian queen, meaning "The beauty has come". Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, this multifaceted musician has always preserved a piece of her culture.
With her empowerment rap, LA NEFERA has long been known in the scene as the "Latin Rap Pharaoh of Switzerland". As front woman of various band formations, such as LA NEFERA, KALLEMI and ERROR 404, she has stood on important stages all over the world, from Germany, Canada, Mozambique, England to Palestine.
In Switzerland, the Basel native can look back on numerous notable concerts with her live band, some of which include the OPENAIR
ST. GALLEN, ROCK OZ‘ARÉNES, ZERMATT UNPLUGGED and the OPENAIR BASEL. In her music the rhythms of her Latin American culture origin merge with hip hop and electronic sounds. With her musical blend, her social commitment and her media presence, the rapper has won the BASEL POP AWARD (audience award) in 2018 as well as the "Resonate" award for her strong live presence. In 2020 she won the Basel "FÖRDERPREIS MUSIK 2020”.
Together with her band, consisting of the Bernese DJ and producer OXIDIX, the French sousaphonist VICTOR HEGE and the Canary Islands percussionist ALBERTO GARCIA NAVARRO, LA NEFERA is announcing the release of several new singles for the upcoming year. Alongside a Spring 2021 release date, a first taste of her upcoming EP is soon to come.

Radio X Session: das Ellas-Video ist da
Im November trat die junge Ellas (AG) im Rahmen der Serie "Radio X live Sessions"/"Culture is not Cancelled" auf. Das Konzert ist für die jungen Bandmitglieder war eines der wenigen, das sie dieses Jahr geben konnten.
