X_ARTS Festival - ein Sound- und Kunstfestival am 20. und 21. Oktober
Platz für Transformation und Utopien!
X_ARTS Festival: Radio X feiert seinen 25. Geburtstag mit einem Sound- und Kunstfestival!:
Nach 25 Jahren blicken wir stolz zurück und voller Mut in die Zukunft: Wir nehmen das Jubiläumsjahr zum Anlass, dem Wandel und den Utopien Platz zu schaffen. Wir laden am 20. & 21. Oktober zum Kunst- und Soundfestival „X_ARTS Festival“ in der TransBona Halle auf dem Dreispitz ein.
Radio X ist eine wichtige Radio-Plattform für regionales Musik-, Kultur- und Kunstschaffen. Diese Plattform wollen wir nun im physischen Raum erweitern. On air berichtet Radio X täglich über Konzerte, Ausstellungen, Festivals sowie über gesellschaftlich relevante Themen wie Vielfalt und Nachhaltigkeit. All dies verbinden wir nun in einem Festival, das auf den Gedanken der Weiterentwicklung, der Community und den Gemeinsamkeiten basiert.
Festival-Thema: Wandel, Transformation und Utopien
Radio X sieht sich als Plattform und Schnittstelle im Bereich Kultur, Wandel und Gesellschaft. Dies ist auch Thema des Festivals: Neue Herangehensweisen, neue Visionen einer Welt, die mitten im Wandel steht, stimmen zu einem neuen Kanon ein. Das Kurationsteam (Danielle Bürgin, Luzius Bauer, Clemens Fiechter) setzt sich zum Ziel, Kontraste zu erlauben und Gemeinsamkeiten zu schaffen.
Inspiration für das Publikum
Das Festival zeigt, wie Kunst dazu beitragen kann, eine bessere Zukunft zu gestalten. Live-Interaktionen und Radio-Talk-Formate sollen Anstösse für Veränderungsprozesse in der Gesellschaft, Kultur und Kunst geben. Ganz nach dem Motto: Lasst uns gemeinsam das Radio X Jubiläumsjahr feiern – mit euren Visionen, Utopien und Träumen. Erlebbar gemacht wird das Festival und seine Botschaften durch Videoinstallationen, Performances, Skulpturen, Klangkünstler:innen, elektronische Live-Acts und Talks.

Nevertheless, there are public cultural centers and public spaces in Buenos Aires that welcome and finance artistic practices. Yet self-created rules are always necessary, and small communities that connect with each other are essential. This city, like any big city in Latin America, is characterized by its mix of cultures, which is what fuels our creativity. We create with what we have, overcoming difficulties, and we marvel at every little thing thatsparks inspiration.
That’s how it feels here, where we insist on staying.There’s a deeply rooted idea that self-care and individual growth is the only way toachieving happiness, stability, and success.
In thisTIMEZONES episode, we talk about how we connect with other people despite being bombarded with this premise. Being dependent on other people is not the same as being weak. We must acknowledge the fact that building our own networks to support our own rules is the most important thing we can invest our time and resources in right now. Do-it-yourself can be a utopia, but it can also be a misleading term when people simply cannot do it themselves. During the production of this episode, I came to realize that we support each other in our limitations and not just in our competences. That way, we not only amplify but also protect each other.
